Role Description The Sales Executive (Life Planner) is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos. The person in this position will identify and engage prospective clients, explain life insurance products, and recommend solutions that match clients’ financial needs and goals. Daily activities include conducting client meetings, preparing and presenting proposals, following up on leads, and maintaining accurate records of interactions and policies. The role also involves building and managing a portfolio of clients, achieving sales and retention targets, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth policy onboarding and customer support. The Sales Executive (Life Planner) is expected to represent the company professionally, participate in training sessions, and stay informed about product updates and industry developments.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and business development abilities, including prospecting, lead conversion, and relationship management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to explain financial concepts clearly and build trust with diverse clients.
- Customer service orientation and problem-solving skills to understand client needs and recommend suitable life insurance solutions.
- Basic financial literacy and interest in insurance or financial services; prior experience in life insurance or banking is an advantage.
- Ability to work toward targets, manage time effectively, and maintain organized client records.
- Comfort with on-site client engagement in Lagos and willingness to travel locally for meetings when required.
- Proficiency in common office software and digital tools used for presentations, reporting, and communication.
- Minimum of a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are a plus.
