Role Description 
The Sales Representative Laboratory role is a full-time, on-site position based in Onitsha. This role involves promoting and selling laboratory products and services, building relationships with healthcare and laboratory professionals, and conducting regular visits to clients and prospects in the region. The Sales Representative is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, delivering product presentations and demonstrations, and providing technical and commercial support to customers. Daily activities include managing sales pipelines, preparing quotations, following up on orders, and maintaining accurate records in line with company reporting standards. The role also requires collaboration with internal teams to ensure timely delivery, customer satisfaction, and alignment with AfriBioTech Group’s growth objectives. 
Qualifications 

 

  • Strong sales and customer relationship skills, including prospecting, negotiation, and account management.
  • Knowledge of laboratory products, diagnostics, or biotechnology solutions and ability to communicate technical information clearly.
  • Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage diverse healthcare and laboratory stakeholders.
  • Solid organizational and time-management abilities, with capacity to plan visits, manage territories, and meet sales targets.
  • Comfort with basic digital tools and CRM systems for recording activities, tracking opportunities, and reporting.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Science, Laboratory Technology, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in medical, pharmaceutical, or laboratory sales in Nigeria, especially Anambra/Onitsha region, is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, ethical conduct, and willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
