Job Description

Company Description Hour Weddings is Gibraltar’s oldest and largest wedding company, founded in 2007 by Monica Coumbe. With over a thousand beautifully executed events, we specialise in creating unique and memorable weddings and corporate events across Gibraltar and southern Spain.

The Role

We are looking for a creative, organised and hands-on Stylist / Event Stylist to join our team.

This role would suit someone with a natural flair for colour, design, styling and presentation. You do not need years of event styling experience, but you must have a good eye for detail, enjoy making things look beautiful, and be confident in helping bring event concepts to life.

You will work closely with our wedding planners and events team to help create mood boards, prepare styling ideas, organise décor items, liaise with suppliers, and support the set-up and styling of weddings and events.

This is a practical, creative and varied role, ideal for someone who loves interiors, flowers, tablescapes, colour palettes, décor and beautiful details.

As part of this role, you must be able to speak fluent English and Spanish and hold a valid driving licence. You will need to be confident driving between Gibraltar, La Línea, suppliers and venues across southern Spain, as the role will involve supplier visits, collections, décor preparation, venue set-ups and event logistics.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will help with:

Creating mood boards and styling ideas for weddings and events

Choosing colours, textures, décor pieces and styling details

Preparing simple design concepts for clients

Assisting with décor budgets and supplier costings

Helping to organise props, décor, table settings and event items

Supporting the team with ordering, checking and preparing styling goods

Liaising with suppliers where needed

Collecting and returning décor items, props and styling goods when required

Assisting with floor plans, layouts and event set-up plans

Helping to style venues on the day of the event

Supporting both weddings and corporate events

Essential Requirements

The successful candidate must:

Speak fluent English and Spanish

Hold a valid driving licence

Be confident driving between Gibraltar, La Línea and venues across southern Spain

Be practical, reliable and happy to assist with event set-up, supplier collections and décor logistics

Be comfortable working both in the office and on-site at venues

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

Has a natural eye for colour, design and detail

Enjoys styling, interiors, flowers, table décor and creative presentation

Is organised, practical and hands-on

Can work calmly under pressure

Is happy to be involved in both creative planning and physical set-up

Can multitask across different weddings and events

Is confident using Canva, Pinterest or similar design tools

Is comfortable using Google Workspace, including Google Sheets and Google Drive

Can communicate well with clients, suppliers and the team

Speaks fluent English and Spanish

Holds a valid driving licence and is confident driving between Gibraltar, La Línea, and venues across southern Spain, is proactive and willing to learn

Experience

Previous experience in weddings, events, interiors, floristry, retail display, visual merchandising, hospitality, styling, design, or décor would be helpful, but full event-styling experience is not essential.

We are more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, a creative eye, organisational skills and a willingness to learn.

This Role Would Suit Someone Who Loves:

Colour palettes

Table styling

Pinterest and mood boards

Interior design

Flowers and décor

Beautiful events

Organising details

Making spaces look special

Working as part of a busy, creative team

About You

You may already have experience in events, styling, interiors, floristry, hospitality, retail display or creative work — or you may simply have a strong natural eye for design and want to develop your career in weddings and events.

You must be practical, reliable, calm, organised and happy to get involved in all parts of the process, from creative ideas to set-up and delivery.

If you are passionate about styling, colour, design and creating memorable events with care and attention to detail, we would love to hear from you.
