Job Description
Role Description This is an on-site, contract role for a Construction Project Manager based in Lagos. The Construction Project Manager will oversee end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects related to ceramic and porcelain tile facilities and installations. Responsibilities include defining project scopes, developing schedules, managing contractors and site teams.
Qualifications
- Strong project leadership skills, including Construction Project Management and general Project Management experience.
- Proficiency in Construction Management practices, including site supervision, quality control, and safety compliance.
- Experience with Project Coordination, including scheduling, stakeholder communication, and documentation.
- Solid Budgeting skills for planning, tracking, and controlling project costs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing construction projects, ideally in industrial, manufacturing, or related building environments.
- Familiarity with local building codes, standards, and permitting processes in Lagos or similar markets.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2, or equivalent construction/project management credentials) are an advantage.
