Job Description

About the job Paralegal | Personal Injury | Glasgow If you're a Paralegal with at least 2 years' experience in personal injury or a related field, this is a great opportunity to join a busy and established Glasgow law firm offering high-quality work, genuine career progression and a supportive team environment.

What's on offer

  • Competitive salary dependent on experience
  • Hybrid working with flexibility
  • Exposure to high-quality, complex personal injury matters
  • Clear progression opportunities and long-term career prospects
  • Supportive and collaborative working culture
  • Ongoing training and development
  • Manageable caseloads with good supervision

The role

As a Personal Injury Paralegal based in Glasgow, you'll support solicitors while also managing your own files across a varied and meaningful caseload. You'll work directly with clients who have experienced trauma, abuse or significant loss - often at some of the most difficult points in their lives - so the human side of this role is as important as the legal.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing personal injury files
  • Building trusted relationships with vulnerable clients, including children, families in crisis and survivors of abuse
  • Taking instructions sensitively and supporting clients through complex, emotionally demanding processes
  • Drafting legal documents, correspondence and court papers
  • Preparing files for court and attending hearings where required
  • Maintaining accurate file records and progressing cases efficiently
  • Conducting legal research and gathering evidence

About you

This role would suit a Personal Injury Paralegal who:

  • Has 2+ years' experience as a paralegal in personal injury or a related area
  • Brings a compassionate, client-centred approach to their work
  • Listens actively and communicates sensitively with clients who may be distressed or in vulnerable circumstances
  • Has solid drafting and communication skills
  • Takes a proactive, detail-oriented approach to caseload management
  • Works effectively as part of a close-knit team

The environment

You'll be joining a forward-thinking Glasgow law firm with a highly regarded reputation for a supportive and inclusive working culture. The team is approachable, collaborative and committed to developing their people.

This is a genuine opportunity to build experience in a specialist area within a Glasgow personal injury team that takes both the quality of its work and the wellbeing of its staff seriously.
