Our powerhouse of products — including spending, saving, investing, exchanging, travelling, and more — help our 75+ million customers get more from their money every day.

About the role

The Legal team turns complexity into clarity by partnering with teams across Revolut to provide sharp, practical advice that helps the business move fast while staying protected. From structuring credit programmes to navigating new markets, the Legal team ensures growth is secure, compliant, and built for the long term.

We’re looking for a Head of Legal who’ll advise on compliance and legal issues around cryptoassets and other financial features.

Up to shape what's next in finance? Let's get in touch.

What you'll be doing

  • Advising the business on compliance and legal issues surrounding structuring of new and existing cryptoassets and financial products for global expansion markets
  • Drafting customer-facing legal documents for these products
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable financial services and cryptoasset regulations
  • Being a part of Product and Commercial teams, working with them to help design and deliver solutions that are compliant with crypto legislation
  • Helping expand Revolut’s products and managing regulatory expectations, requirements, and applications
  • Proactively engaging and working with local regulators

What you'll need

  • 6+ years of PQE
  • To be a Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or equivalent legal practitioner admitted in Gibraltar, UK, or another recognised common law jurisdiction
  • Significant experience advising on financial services regulation, gained either in-house or within a leading law firm
  • Demonstrable expertise advising on distributed ledger technology (DLT), digital assets, cryptoassets, payment services, financial instruments, and other regulated financial products
  • In-depth knowledge of Gibraltar's legal and regulatory framework applicable to DLT providers, financial services, and anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (AML/CFT)
  • Experience engaging with the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission (GFSC)
  • Familiarity with relevant UK, Gibraltar, and international financial regulatory regimes
  • A solid understanding of financial regulations, corporate governance, and regulatory supervisory frameworks, with the ability to provide pragmatic, risk-based legal advice
  • The ability to make decisions where there's ambiguity or incomplete information
  • Excellent stakeholder management, drafting, negotiation, and communication skills

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of European regulatory frameworks, including MiCA, MiFID II, and PSD2
