Senior Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive engineering design and expertise for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
• Review and affix professional stamp to mechanical drawings and calculations
• Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes and regulations
• Collaborate effectively with clients and consultants to ensure successful project delivery
• Prepare and review specifications, design reports, and project documentation
• Oversee quality assurance processes and provide technical guidance to junior designers and engineers

Qualifications:

• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation required
• Minimum of 15 years experience in mechanical engineering, specializing in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for projects
• Demonstrated ability to professionally stamp drawings and calculations
• In-depth knowledge of Ontario Building Code, NFPA 96, and other relevant standards pertaining to HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection
• Extensive experience in commercial, residential, and industrial projects
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
