Job Description
The SEO, Website Design & Paid Ads Specialist is a part-time, contract role responsible for executing and optimizing search engine optimization, website design, and paid advertising strategies for agency clients. This is a flexible, remote-friendly position based in Columbus, OH, with occasional in-person collaboration as needed.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with creative problem-solving and is passionate about helping service-based businesses grow through measurable marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct SEO audits and implement technical, on-page, and local SEO improvements.
- Perform keyword research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Optimize website content, metadata, internal linking, and overall site performance.
- Design, build, and update client websites and landing pages using platforms such as WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, or Webflow.
- Improve website user experience (UX), mobile responsiveness, and conversion rates.
- Create and optimize Google Ads campaigns focused on lead generation.
- Manage and optimize Meta Ads campaigns when appropriate.
- Monitor campaign performance, budgets, conversions, and return on ad spend (ROAS).
- Set up conversion tracking using Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Search Console, and Meta Pixel.
- Create monthly performance reports with actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with the agency team to implement integrated digital marketing strategies across multiple client accounts.
- Stay current on SEO, Google Ads, website best practices, and algorithm updates.
Qualifications
Required
- Experience managing SEO for service-based businesses.
- Experience building and maintaining websites.
- Experience creating and optimizing Google Ads campaigns.
- Strong understanding of technical SEO, local SEO, and on-page optimization.
- Experience with Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and Google Ads.
- Familiarity with WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, or Webflow.
- Understanding of website conversion optimization and landing page best practices.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts while meeting deadlines.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
Preferred
- Experience working within a marketing agency.
- Experience marketing therapists, healthcare providers, or other service-based businesses.
- Experience with Meta Ads Manager.
- Familiarity with Looker Studio, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar SEO tools.
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
- Experience with CRM integrations, lead tracking, and marketing automation.
