Job Description
We are looking for a skilled HR Manager who will recruit, support and develop talent through developing policies, strategies and managing procedures. You will be responsible for administrative tasks and you’ll contribute to making the company a better place to work.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
- Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants.
- Create and implement effective onboarding plans
- Develop and deploy training and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
- Deploy company's performance management processes
- Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
- Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
- Maintain employee records (attendance etc.) according to policy and legal requirements
- Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance
- Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Provide counseling on policies and procedures
- Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proven experience as HR Manager, administrator or other HR position
- Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
- Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
- Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Strong ethics and reliability
- BSc/BA in Social sciences or relevant field; further training will be a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₦150,000.00 - ₦300,000.00 per month
