Full job description Job summary We are seeking a competent, analytical, and detail-oriented Surveyor to join our team in Lagos. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out property valuations, site inspections, market research, feasibility studies, and surveying activities to support real estate, construction, and investment projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct property valuations for residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural, and mixed-use properties.
  • Carry out site inspections and property assessments to determine market and investment values.
  • Prepare comprehensive valuation reports for sales, acquisitions, mortgages, insurance, taxation, litigation, compensation, and investment purposes.
  • Conduct market research and analyse real estate trends to support valuation decisions.
  • Perform land and property surveys where required and verify property boundaries.
  • Assist in feasibility and highest-and-best-use studies for development projects.
  • Measure land and buildings using appropriate surveying equipment and software.
  • Review land titles, survey plans, deeds, and other property documentation.
  • Advise clients and management on property values, investment opportunities, and market conditions.
  • Liaise with clients, financial institutions, legal practitioners, government agencies, developers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable land, planning, valuation, and professional regulations.
  • Maintain accurate valuation records, survey data, maps, and property databases.
  • Prepare professional reports, presentations, and technical documentation.
  • Monitor developments within the real estate market and recommend appropriate valuation methodologies.
  • Perform any other surveying or valuation-related duties assigned by management.

 


 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a S.S.C.E
  • 2 years of previous experience in a similar role
