Data Entry Officer

Job Summary

We are seeking a smart, detail-oriented, and organized Data Entry Intern to join our team in Ikeja, Lagos. The ideal candidate will support the accurate processing, structuring, and maintenance of operational information.

The role involves working with large volumes of structured data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely updates to support smooth business operations.

This position is ideal for candidates who are eager to gain hands-on experience in data administration, information processing, and operational support within a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

-Input, update, and maintain accurate records across company databases and internal systems.

-Verify and review information for accuracy, completeness, and proper formatting.

-Organize and maintain digital records and structured documentation.

-Assist in processing and managing operational data across business systems.

-Generate basic reports and provide administrative support where required.

-Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive company information.

-Support day-to-day administrative and operational tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

-Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) in any discipline.

-Candidates must have completed the NYSC programme.

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Word.

-Strong typing and data entry skills.

-Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

-Good written and verbal communication skills.

-Strong organizational and time management abilities.

-Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Preferred Skills

-Familiarity with Google Sheets or basic data management systems is an advantage.

-Ability to handle repetitive tasks with consistency and high accuracy.

-Strong analytical mindset for identifying errors and inconsistencies
