Job Description

Full job description About the Job Blawdigital is looking for a visionary, structured, people-centred, and highly driven People and Culture Manager to build and lead our People and Culture function from the ground up.

This is not a traditional HR role.

This is an opportunity to architect the people foundation of a fast-growing digital ecosystem built around one mission:
a commitment to people and business success.

As our People and Culture Manager, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and scaling the systems, culture, structures, experiences, and operational standards that shape how Success Hands (employees) grow, thrive, collaborate, perform, and succeed within Blawdigital.

You will serve as one of the foundational builders of our organization.

You will not simply manage HR operations — you will help shape the culture, structure, philosophy, and future of the company.

This role requires someone who deeply believes in people development, organizational growth, operational excellence, long-term value creation, and building environments where ambitious individuals can thrive.

You must be comfortable operating in ambiguity, building systems from zero, wearing multiple hats, solving people-related challenges, and helping to create a culture that balances performance, humanity, ownership, structure, accountability, innovation, and growth.

This role is ideal for builders, not maintainers.

Responsibilities

  • The People and Culture Manager will be responsible for building and managing the People and Culture department (HR) and ensuring that Blawdigital develops into a high-performance, growth-driven, healthy, and people-centred organization.
  • You will design and implement the company’s people operations systems, culture frameworks, organizational policies, employee lifecycle structures, performance systems, onboarding experiences, employee engagement systems, and internal operational standards.
  • You will lead recruitment operations and help attract ambitious, values-aligned, and growth-oriented individuals who can contribute meaningfully to Blawdigital’s long-term vision.
  • You will oversee the development of hiring processes, interview systems, recruitment standards, onboarding workflows, orientation systems, documentation structures, employee records management, and people operations policies.
  • You will help establish and sustain a thriving internal culture in which Success Hands feel empowered, supported, challenged, developed, recognized, and aligned with the company’s mission and values.
  • You will work closely with leadership to define company culture, organizational behaviour standards, communication expectations, accountability systems, learning structures, and growth pathways for employees.
  • You will build systems for performance management, feedback processes, evaluations, employee development, learning initiatives, growth tracking, promotions, and organizational alignment.
  • You will also oversee employee experience initiatives designed to improve morale, engagement, collaboration, wellness, productivity, and long-term retention.
  • The role requires supporting conflict resolution, internal communication systems, employee relations, policy administration, compliance coordination, and organizational health management.
  • You will contribute to strategic workforce planning and help ensure that Blawdigital scales sustainably while maintaining a strong operational culture and people-centred leadership.
  • You will help institutionalize the philosophy of “Success Hands” across the organization and ensure employees experience Blawdigital as a place for meaningful work, growth, learning, ownership, and long-term success.
  • You will additionally support leadership development, succession planning, operational structure development, and people strategy alignment as the organization expands.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who is highly entrepreneurial, emotionally intelligent, operationally structured, people-oriented, ambitious, and deeply aligned with long-term company building.

Candidates should possess strong experience or demonstrated capability in Human Resources, People Operations, Talent Management, Organizational Development, Culture Building, Recruitment, Employee Experience, or Startup Operations.

Experience building systems from scratch or operating within startup environments is highly preferred.

You should possess strong communication skills, leadership ability, organizational thinking, emotional intelligence, strategic problem-solving capability, and strong operational discipline.

You must be capable of balancing empathy with accountability while fostering a culture of excellence, learning, ownership, professionalism, and growth.

Candidates should demonstrate a strong understanding of recruitment systems, onboarding processes, organizational structures, people operations, employee engagement, performance management, and workplace culture development.

You must be highly proactive, adaptable, resourceful, and comfortable working in fast-moving and evolving environments.

We are especially looking for individuals who genuinely care about people’s development and who believe businesses should be environments where individuals can grow personally, professionally, financially, and entrepreneurially.

Compensation Structure (Important)

  • This is an early-stage, pre-revenue/early-revenue role
  • No salary at this initial phase
  • Blawdigital will cover:
  • Work tools and software
  • Data and operational resources
  • 0.3% Equity allocated to you under Blawbusiness
  • Starting compensation
  • at the beginning of the early revenue phase:
  • 350,000 Net,
  • with periodic increments as we grow.

This structure is designed for individuals who want to build long-term value and ownership, not just earn short-term income. Given the nature of this early-stage engagement, you will be advised to take on other part-time jobs to cover your living expenses.
