Job Description
A leadership role focused on driving GE Vernova's federal and state government engagement strategies in Australia and New Zealand. The position involves building key political relationships, shaping advocacy efforts, and advancing commercial and market access opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with Australian federal and state policymakers, industry stakeholders, diplomatic partners, and US diplomatic personnel.
- Strategic Advocacy: Shape advocacy efforts, support government-facing bids, and identify policy/commercial advocacy opportunities to safeguard business growth.
- Internal Advisory: Inform global corporate and business leadership regarding macroeconomic, energy policy, and regulatory trends in the region.
- Market Intelligence: Partner with regional businesses to deliver international market intelligence and facilitate the execution of corporate business strategy.
- Regulatory Response: Coordinate company-wide responses to government inquiries, regulatory proposals, and official solicitations.
